Survival and competition stories always do well, both have very universal primal appeal, and for our first 4K series, we decided to put the two together. It was pretty dangerous.

Every episode, Ed Stafford, world famous survivalist and new challenger are dropped into the world's most inhospitable areas, given a finishing point a few days away on foot, and that's about all they are given. First man out wins.

The series became one of the top performers across Asia and globally. I don't believe it is because of the stakes, or the danger. It's rooting for people who need challenges like these to shed perspective on, and ultimately come to terms with who they really are.
